Adobe Reader - troubleshooting First
check that you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Reader. Check the
Adobe website
if you aren't sure.
If you have trouble opening pdf files within Netscape (Adobe Reader opens
but is unable to load the pdf file and/or nothing appears at all), but
you can open pdf files outside of Netscape that are saved locally, try
the following as a possible remedy:
1. Open Reader.
2. Go to 'File' menu.
3. Select 'Preferences'.
4. The window that pops up will have a menu running down the left side,
select 'Internet'.
5. If the first box ('Open PDF in Browser') is checked, click on the
box to un-check it.
6. Click OK.
If you are still having problems, you may want to check with Adobe customer
support.
