Paula Song awarded PCORI grant for Model of Health Delivery

Paula Song PhD, a Research Fellow at the Sheps Center and Associate Professor Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, was recently awarded a Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) grant of 1.9 million dollars. The project is titled Improving Care Coordination for Children with Disabilities Through an Accountable Care Organization.  The goal of this research is to assess care coordination for and patient-centered outcomes of children with disabilities under an Accountable Care Organization as compared with traditional fee-for-service plans.
