Linda Aiken PhD

Dr. Aiken has directed studies of the impact of nursing on patient outcomes in over 30 countries. Her research on nurse staffing and patient outcomes is widely used as a basis for managerial and policy decision making. Her research showing that hospitals with more nurses with bachelor’s qualifications have lower mortality and fewer adverse patient outcomes has impacted nurse education, employment, and policy in the U.S. and abroad.

This seminar is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
