Up-to-date curriculum vitae
Letters of reference from three individuals familiar with your research potential. (These letters should be solicited by the applicant and sent directly to the Training Program Director, Dr. Joseph P. Morrissey.)
Official graduate school transcript
A sample of your written work (paper or article) which reflects your potential and promise for this type of training
Applicants for fellowship support must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States at the time of award. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, subject to award availability. Applicants are encouraged to schedule a visit at their own expense to UNC and Duke for interviews. Postdoctoral fellowships are awarded for a 12-month period usually beginning in June, July, or August. Fellowships are renewable for a second 12-month period as long as the fellow continues to meet program requirements.
