The North Carolina Rural Health Research & Policy Analysis Center (NC RHR & PAC) is one of six federally-designated rural health research centers funded by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration, Public Health Service, US DHHS Award No. 2 U1CRH03714-05-00.

The Center's present policy analysis and research agenda focuses on the following substantive areas: Medicare reimbursement policy, Medicaid, EMS and access to care. The Program also has an active dissemination component and emphasizes the use of geographic methods in research.
