Corey is thrilled to join the Sheps team as an NRSA predoctoral fellow. He is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Epidemiology. For his dissertation research, Corey will examine disease burden and health care utilization for individuals with clinically diagnosed peripheral artery disease. He is interested in promoting healthy aging and is committed to understanding the social context and decision-making processes involved for individuals with PAD. He broadly hopes that his work will matter.
Corey lives in Durham with his wife, Juli, and daughter, Novella. He is an avid baseball fan, enjoys working on their house, and hopes to retire one day to a life of mowing lawns.
