Forbes highlights Sheps Workforce Program’s FutureDocs Forecasting Tool

An Opinion piece in Forbes online magazine, published 10/21/14, highlights the newly released FutureDocs Forecasting Tool developed by the Health Workforce Program here at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research.

The authors referred to the tool as,

“A recent groundbreaking simulation created by the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC) and funded by The Physicians Foundation shows that there will be drastic shortages of critical specialists and primary care physicians over the next five years unless states and the federal government take immediate action.”
