This webinar will identify effective strategies for communicating during the pre-award stage of the grants management process with community partners, business office staff, and research administrators. It will introduce the Academic Researcher’s Guide, a resource for academic researchers and their project managers interested in gaining a greater understanding of the pre-and postaward process when conducting federally-funded, community-engaged research.
The presenters will provide tips on what information to share with community partners in order to foster effective partnerships and avoid common pitfalls during the pre-award process.
UNC’s Community-Academic Grants Administration Translation (CAGAT) is an initiative designed to help improve the grants management infrastructure for community-academic partnered research through the collaborative development of guides and webinars.
