Jeanna Campbell Honored with 2025 PARE Award
Jeanna Campbell, PhD, a postdoctoral trainee with the HRSA-funded NRSA Primary Care Research Fellowship at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research, has been named one of the 2025 recipients of the Postdoctoral Awards for Research Excellence (PARE) at UNC.
The PARE awards, presented annually by UNC Research, recognize outstanding postdoctoral scholars who demonstrate exceptional research promise and impact across disciplines. Along with the other recipients, Dr. Campbell presented her work during University Research Week at the PARE Talks, on October 23, 2025.
Dr. Campbellās research focuses on the intersection of income, community resources, and access to primary health care services, and how these factors influence cardiometabolic health outcomes such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to health equity and community engagement.
