Workforce team welcomes new HPDS Director, Hilary Campbell, PharmD, JD

Hilary A. Campbell, PharmD, JD
Hilary Campbell, PharmD, JD joined the Program for Health Workforce Research & Policy on March 15th, 2021. Dr. Campbell is joining the team as the Director of Sheps Health Workforce NC and the North Carolina Health Professions Data System; she will state health workforce initiatives within the Program on Health Workforce Research and Policy.
Prior to joining the Sheps Center, Dr. Campbell worked in research, education, and operations at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy; she also recently served as the Acting Special Assistant to the Chief Data Officer of the NC Department of Health and Human Services. She was the 2015-2016 Health Law Fellow at the Duke Office of Counsel, and is a licensed pharmacist (MI) and attorney (CA).
Dr. Campbell holds a JD from Duke Law School and a PharmD with a focus on health policy and management from the UC San Francisco. She completed her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley in Nutrition Science: Metabolism & Physiology.
