Funding Amounts and State Policy Actions
File: Funding Amounts and State Policy Actions Updated: January 8, 2026
Description: This file contains our estimates of RHTP funding, allocated across the three tranches (baseline, rural facility and population, and workload) as well as state policy actions as summarized by CMS.

Note: Funding amounts come from the total announced award, the estimated rural facility and population funding based on data from Sheps Center Rural Facility and Population Score Estimates, and the implied workload funding. The latter two are known to be inaccurate; the rural facility and population data are incomplete [e.g., exclude state-provided Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) data and thus the implied workload funding will be inaccurate, but discrepancies should be small]. Funding amounts are sometimes rescaled to account for rounding error.
