Responding to Patient Needs in the VA Healthcare System: Connecting the Right Care Team Members to the Right Patients

George Jackson, a research health scientist and  the director of the Implementation Science Lab in the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care at the Durham VA Medical Center, will be giving the second seminar in the Program on Health Workforce 2013-14 Seminar Series.  The Veterans Administration is the largest fully-integrated healthcare delivery system in the United States.  Dr. Jackson will describe examples of ongoing quality improvement and research partnerships designed to better understand how care team members may be best positioned to collaborate with the goal of providing patient-centered care.
