Betsy Sleath awarded PCORI grant for adolescent asthma research

Betsy Sleath, PhD, the Director of the Program on Child and Adolescent Health Services Research at the Sheps Center and Chair of the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, had been awarded a 1.9 million dollar research grant from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). The study is titled Using Question Prompt Lists During Pediatric Asthma Visits to Increase Adolescent Involvement.  The goal of this research is to increase teen participation and engagement in their own medical visits.
