The Sheps Center congratulates Don Pathman, MD, MPH, on receiving the 2026 Fredric Moskol 3RNET Leadership Award, a national honor recognizing individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a commitment to improving health care access in rural and underserved communities.

A longtime Sheps Center investigator and program director, Pathman has dedicated his career to strengthening the rural and primary care workforce through research, collaboration, and service. His work has advanced understanding of clinician recruitment, retention, and practice in underserved communities, helping inform workforce policies and programs across the country.

The Sheps Center is proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of Don’s longstanding contributions to rural health, primary care, and health workforce research.
