“Improving Youth Question-Asking and Provider Education during Pediatric Asthma Visits” will be published in the Patient Education and Counseling Journal. It was authored by Betsy Sleath, Delesha M. “The question prompt list and video intervention is brief, easy to implement, and inexpensive. The English and Spanish videos are on a YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSbQklyoYDLuwa-x-KeGIiQ. The intervention was successful at increasing youth question-asking about asthma medications, triggers, and environmental control. Providers who wish to increase youth involvement during asthma visits may want to consider implementing this brief intervention during pre-visit wait time.”
