Systems for the provision of mental health services have had to face the realization that persons with these problems are often unable to identify a single factor or diagnosis responsible for their disability. Rather, many persons seeking professional mental health services from specialists or generalists are in need of multifactor interventions. The complexity of these needs and demands on the mental health system is reflected in this weaving by Lynne Caldwell.
