Sheps Center Advisory Board
Sheps leadership/management is closely advised by the Sheps Center Advisory Board. The Advisory Board has approximately 20 members, composed of various university department chairs, other senior leaders across the UNC campus, and stakeholders. The members represent six professional schools at UNC (medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry, pharmacy, social work) and provide advice on Sheps Center strategy and emerging issues in health services research, and state and federal health policy. Furthermore, they help recruit and select Sheps Center Research Fellows. The Board meets three times a year and provides a forum for exchange of topics in health services research.
