Seth A. Berkowitz, MD, MPH, Principal Investigator. Dr. Berkowitz is an Associate Professor of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and has expertise in both research and evaluation of interventions to address health-related social needs.
Gaurav Dave, MD, DrPH, MPH, Quantitative and Implementation Science. Dr. Dave is an Associate Professor of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology in the School of Medicine and the Associate Director of the Center for Health Equity Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is an expert in the field of formative and summative evaluation research, specializing in evaluating multi-level, complex initiatives, programs and interventions.
Maihan Vu, DrPH, Qualitative. Dr. Vu is the Director of Formative Research and Director of the Qualitative Research Unit for the UNC-CH Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and is an expert in health-related qualitative research.
Kori Flower, MD, MS, MPH, Pediatrics. Dr. Flower is Professor and Chief of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She is a general pediatrician with expertise in preventative medicine and quality improvement and will be responsible for assisting with aspects of the evaluation that involved pediatric populations, including evaluation design, interpretation of analyses, and preparing reports.
Marisa Domino, PhD, Economic Evaluator. Dr. Domino is a Professor and the Director of the Center for Health Information and Research (CHiR) within the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC. Dr. Domino is a trained health economist and was also the lead evaluator for the other North Carolina 1115 waiver evaluation.
